Why this program exists

Most treatment programs treat gambling like an afterthought.
This one doesn’t.

Problem gambling rarely travels alone. Depression, anxiety, financial crisis, and damaged relationships come with it. Reset Behavioral Health was built to treat all of it at once, at the clinical depth an IOP provides.

🎯

Gambling-specific clinical training

Our clinicians use CBT protocols developed specifically for gambling disorder — not general addiction curricula retrofitted for a different condition.

🧠

Co-occurring mental health, treated seriously

Depression and anxiety are tracked with standardized measures and treated as their own clinical target.

💬

The financial fallout gets named

Debt, legal exposure, broken trust — a dedicated weekly group addresses the practical and emotional damage gambling leaves behind.

How it works

From first call to first group in three steps.

We don’t make people jump through hoops. The intake process is designed to tell you honestly whether this is the right fit.

1

Intake call with a licensed clinician

A structured assessment to evaluate your clinical picture. Honest about the outcome either way.

2

Benefits verification

We check your specific insurance plan and give you a plain-language estimate of your likely cost before you commit.

3

Individualized treatment plan & start

Your treatment plan is set before your first group session, with goals for mood, anxiety, and gambling-specific recovery.

Is this the right level of care?

IOP is more than weekly therapy. Less than all-day treatment.

We’d rather tell you this isn’t the right level than enroll you in something that doesn’t fit.

Outpatient Therapy
1–2 hrs / week
Appropriate when symptoms are present but manageable, and gambling hasn’t escalated to daily preoccupation or repeated failed attempts to stop.
Intensive Outpatient
9–19 hrs / week
This program
Appropriate when gambling and mood symptoms are significantly impairing work, relationships, or finances on a near-daily basis — and you’re stable enough to live at home.
Partial Hospitalization
20–30+ hrs / week
Appropriate when daily structured support is needed, or co-occurring conditions require closer medical oversight than an IOP can provide.

Not sure where you land? Talk to a clinician before committing to anything.

What people say

From people who’ve been through it.

I had been to therapy before. Nobody ever asked about the gambling. I had no idea how much I had been carrying around that I never got to put down until I came here.
M.R., former patient
My family knew something was wrong but not what. This program helped me actually explain it to them. That was something I did not think was possible.
D.K., former patient
I was ashamed for a long time. The group made me realize I was not the only one who had gotten here this way. That sounds small but it was not small at all.
P.A., former patient

Take the first step

Start with a conversation. No commitment required.

An intake call tells you plainly whether IOP fits, what it would look like week to week, and what we can find out about your specific coverage — before you sign anything.
